E-Teach Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This document explains what data we (E-Teach) collect, why we collect it, and how you can control your information when you visit e-teach.io or use our mobile apps Aiki and Deep Cleanup.
1. Information We Collect

We do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g., biometric, health, or government IDs).
2. How We Use Your Data
- Deliver core features (lessons, cleanup algorithms).
- Sync progress across devices.
- Provide customer support.
- Improve product quality via anonymised analytics.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We never sell your data to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
We only share data with:

All partners are bound by GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreements.
4. Your Choices & Rights
- Access / Export – Request a copy of your data in JSON.
- Correction – Update profile info anytime.
- Deletion – Delete account & data via in-app Settings, or email privacy@e-teach.io.
- Opt-Out of Analytics – Toggle “Share Usage Data” in Settings.
Residents of the EU/EEA have additional rights under GDPR (Art. 15-22).
5. Data Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. Backups are purged after 30 days. Deleted files via Deep Cleanup are irreversibly shredded on-device and never uploaded.
6. Security Practices
- End-to-end TLS 1.3 for all network traffic
- PBKDF2-SHA-512 password hashing with unique salts
- Principle of least privilege for internal access
- Regular penetration testing & bug-bounty program
7. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you are a parent who believes your child provided data, contact us for deletion.
8. International Transfers
Data may be processed outside your country of residence. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures to safeguard cross-border transfers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We will post any updates on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Significant changes will be announced via in-app notice or email.
